Ecuador vs France, World Cup 2014
Ecuador and France Play to a 0-0 Draw
Ecuador are out of the World Cup after playing France to a scoreless draw at the Maracana
Given Switzerland’s romp over Honduras in Manaus, La Tri needed a two-goal win in Rio de Janeiro, and their task was made all the more difficult when Antonio Valencia was sent off for a studs-up challenge on Lucas Digne shortly after the restart.
Enner Valencia and Christian Noboa had decent chances to open the scoring for the South Americans, but France had their moments as well and go into the round of 16 as Group E winners.
Following are ratings and analysis for both groups of players.

Jefferson Montero: Not nearly involved enough and has rarely gone on a run with the ball.
